In 2018, Wind Creek Hospitality remodeled its corporate office. They hired an outside interior design firm to do the remodel, but with the interior design firm being unfamiliar with the culture and tribe, they gave us the task of designing the wallpaper. The firm gave us their mood boards, swatches, and some ideas to start with. I was the designer tasked with the project. The box turtle is an iconic image of the Poarch Creek Indians, and the image to the right is a basket-weave pattern of the tribe.
