For years, I had been wanting to design a “Cinderella Theme” promotion for New Year's Eve. NYE designs at the casinos are one of the rare opportunities for designers to have a chance to do special printing. In 2021, I was tasked to design a New Year's Eve promotion for Wind Creek Wetumpka’s NYE event. I created the concept and name of the promotion. Usually, we don’t have the opportunity to come up with the names of the promotions, but I submitted the idea to the marketing manager of the property, and they loved it. They loved it so much that they were scared they would have to cancel the event due to COVID-19, so they opted to save the idea until 2022. The idea behind the invitation was for the guest to “open the gates” of the castle. The invitation included special paper and foil designs.
